Cool Science Projects Made Fun and Easy

If you're looking for cool science projects, just think of something that your friends and family will find exciting and you will enjoy doing. One cool science experiment might be to see if different brands of popcorn leave different amounts of kernels un-popped. This is a great experiment to do when you have friends or family over because they can help you eat all the popcorn you will be making.
To do these cool science projects, you will need to have several different brands of popcorn on hand. Make sure the bags are the same size so they will have approximately the same number of kernels in each bag. You will also need one bowl for each brand of popcorn you will be using, and of course a microwave.
Start by putting the first bag of popcorn you're testing into the microwave. Follow the instructions on the bag for suggested cooking time. When it's done have an adult open the bag, being careful not to burn yourself on the steam. Dump the contents into one of the bowls you have waiting. This is where your visitors will come in handy, invite them to help you eat the popcorn but make sure they don't remove any of the un-popped kernels from the bowl. When all the popcorn is gone count the kernels and record your results. You can then go through the same procedure with the other brands of popcorn you are going to test and record all your results carefully.
